Beverly Abbott has been a registered nurse for 38 years, with extensive experience working in hospital administration. In 2001, she began applying her medical knowledge to the legal arena as a medical expert and legal nurse consultant. Beverly applies her expertise in the field of brain injury and neurological trauma by educating attorneys in all medical aspects of the case. She contributes to the legal team by reviewing/interpreting medical records, rendering medical opinions, preparing expert witnesses and by being a comforting and knowledgeable resource to our clients.

Master of Health Administration
Of significant value is her encompassing knowledge of the full healthcare spectrum on an administrative level. Her familiarity and experience in the regulatory and compliance arenas give an invaluable perspective to attorneys, of the internal operations of hospitals, extended care facilities, home health agencies, regulatory agencies, and insurance agencies. With a master’s degree in healthcare administration, she has worked for over 20 years with that focus.
Legal Nurse Consultant
Beverly has obtained her CLNC which is awarded to the Legal Nurse Consultant who has excelled in both nursing and legal practice and has passed a national certification exam. She is also a member of the American Association of Justice, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and many other nursing organizations.
Presentation Specialist
Beverly has also developed her skills as a legal presentation expert. Through extensive training and practice, she has become adept at pulling together all aspects of the case and presenting it in a manner that is easy to understand to adjusters and to the jury. This is accomplished by identifying and constructing exhibits and compiling multi-media presentations for mediations and the courtroom.
Beyond the trial advantages that having an in-house legal nurse provides, Beverly is also a great comfort to attorney clients, supporting them through all of the medical challenges they continue to face during the litigation process. Beverly provides clients with ease of mind, knowing that they have a knowledgeable and caring medical advocate on their side, accompanying them to depositions and medical appointments, and assisting them in any way she can.

You can find Beverly helping the litigation department preparing experts and presentations for trial or in a leadership role in our class action department helping to facilitate all the class action entities and clients.
When she isn’t helping attorneys win trials, she enjoys being outdoors, and spending time with her two sons Tyler and Ian.
